[QUOTE="YoshiYogurt"]I'm stuck at iOS 4.zeroyaoiWhy is that? :o Iphone 3G can't go any further. All I can use my phone for is texting, calling, Ipod, calculator, and other built in things. Oh and everything is deathly slow and the internet is unusable unless you like waiting a long time. Don't have a data plan and don't need it. I plan on getting a 4 or 4s from a friend some day for cheap.

I had the original iPhone from the time it launched until they stopped updating it, which broke my heart because I still liked it.[QUOTE="zeroyaoi"][QUOTE="YoshiYogurt"]I'm stuck at iOS 4.YoshiYogurt
I like the minimal design of it, it's very clean and simple. However I'm still amazed at the horrible iconography they used...
- Some icons have a very simplistic symbol (mail, phone) while others are way to detailed (settings, safari, compass)
- Some icons have a white icon on a colored background, other icons have a colored icon on a colored or white background.
- Some icons have a light to dark gradient running from top to bottom, others from bottom to top
- Some icons have a gradient in one color (light green to dark green), some have a gradient in 2 colors (purple to blue or green to blue)
- Some icons have a gradient while others are flat
- The proportions of the icons aren't the same
- Some icons are plain ridiculous, how on earth do you relate colored ovals to pictures? Or colored bubbles to games?
- Some icons are just hideous, like the newsstand.
As an art director, these things really irritate me. Especially when I have to look at it everytime I look at my phone...
I seriously don't get how a company that's all about design, UI and UX can release this.Â
