Iphone 4 announced

Today at the WWDC apple conference the new iphone 4 details were released I believe, here is the link below

-3.5 inch screen

-5 megapixel camera

-199$ for 16 gig and 299$ for 32 gig with 2 year ATT contract

-also has a frong camera to use "Facetime" for video chatting

I'll have to wait and see. The contract on my 3G is up in a few months, but I may switch networks. The AT&T network is complete **** it's unbelievable. I love my iPhone, but the crappy network really brings it down.

I'd rather go with the HTC Evo 4G. This iteration of the iPhone is (somehow) even more underwhelming than I expected it to be.

Get it! Best phone on the market, currently. The only negative is that the battery life is on the short side. But the nice thing about Android phones is, unlike the iPhone, you can buy a new and better battery and throw it in without having to pay a $90 service charge.

Get it! Best phone on the market, currently. The only negative is that the battery life is on the short side. But the nice thing about Android phones is, unlike the iPhone, you can buy a new and better battery and throw it in without having to pay a $90 service charge.

Well I wouldn't say that. Like most smart phones, it will require a charge about mid-way through the day. But I'd test run it before dropping the money on a new battery. I ended up buying a new and better battery for my old HTC Dream(also had horrendous battery life) after about six months.

Another iPhone??? :o No way!! I would have never guessed. Still don't plan on spending a first penny on any apple products....

I know folks are loading Android onto the 3GS, i would like to see them do it with this even though I avoid Android like the plague (WM 4 life :lol:). I like to see people make gadgets actually just work :P

Now if only someone could get WindowsEmbedded Compact 7 or Windows Phone 7 on this thing (I think the new A4 chip will be a big problem with that) that would be golden!

I got the original iphone and it was without a doubt the worst phone I ever owned. That's why I dont like the iphone a lot. I do like ipods however :)

Obviously, I never implied you did. It's just amazing how many people hate Apple here, considering how few people I know who hate it IRL. I can guarantee you that any other phone thread would never get this much negative attention (or attention period) so I'm just wondering why there's so much animosity towards Apple and the iPhone.
