I've never had iTunes do that. The only reason it wouldn't let you put legally purchased music on your iPod would be if you're using mp3s which have DRM on them preventing them from being used with iTunes. That's not iTunes' fault, it's whoever you bought them from. Further, why would it split up your albums? :? Unless the metatag data is wrong, but again, that's not iTunes fault and can be quickly and easily fixed just by right clicking the album and making sure the name is the same for every track.

I agree that the vision M was much better that the ipod, but the syncing software for it sucked. Meh, that was a small price to pay in terms of the many other features it had. I just hate now because the Ipod is so dominant and the Apple marketing machine is so powerful that a ton of people missed out and still do on owning a better product...imo anyways.Once the windows 7 phone comes out, I'm getting one along with a zune and am completly ridding myself of apple.

Don't windows phones have a built-in Zune anyway? Yeah they do, which reminds me, I'm not strapped to AT&T which interferes HORRIBLY with my car speakers, the iphone is basically unusable with the car adapters, unless you turn off data. I won't need a dedicated car mp3 player now:)
Too bad its still on AT&T. I'll stick to my Droid. If the rumors about the HTC Scorpion is true then iPhone 4 will be outdated pretty fast. I had a original iPhone and it was good but I hated the network. Now with AT&T new tier data plans on 3G I will never go back.
I really want one but I'll stick with my 3GS for now. I am not paying $599 to upgrade, since I am not able to upgrade with the discounts for awhile. I am happy though everything in terms of multi-tasking, and majority of iOS4 will work on my 3GS.
hmm im eligible for an upgrade so i can get the iphone4 for 299$ but i can also get a evo 4g for 299$ as well....which is the better phone or rather which one is reccomened? (especiallly for gaming purposes ;) )
It's almost competitive with top Android phones. I'd imagine that the next crop of android phones will have it looking as old and pathetic as the 3GS does compared to the EVO 4G, Nexus One, Desire, Droid Incredible, etc.

I refuse to believe this post is serious. Yeah, he needs to double it to 12 months. name me 1 major electronics brand that does not itterate on its products every year.

you do understand that all touch phones like the droid are wannabe cheap iPhones, right? 97% of all Americans have contracts with AT&T and I'm betting most own iPhones.
I dont like smart phones in general. As it turns out I really dont want to watch a HD movie from netflix on a 3.4" screen. Just sayin.
So far I havent found a better solution then, laptop, desktop, basic cell phone.
pretty much the three devices I need for everything.

I don't even own a pc or laptop. I can do everything on my iPhone! And no one said u had to watch movies on your phone, that's mainly for people who travel a lot. Btw, I'm typing this from my iPhone!
