Hey i was wondering if there was a specail kind of paint i should use to piant my ipod case.ive taken it apart and while im at it i want tgive it a cool color any help?

probably something glossy, depending on what you are painting onto. is it plastic or metal? if plastic you will need a special kind of paint if you want it to stay for long without peeling off which i assume you do.

you cant paint over an already painted or glossed product, it would just rub off.   i would ask the people at apple.

First, take it all apart to get the two halves of the case. Sand the plastic half. Spray the plastic with a layer of primer. Sand. More primer. Sand again. Take some Krylon Fusion and spray it whatever color you want. Sand. Spray it with a clear coat. Be sure to wipe it down with a damp cloth each time you're done sanding. It may seem like a long process, but it'll be worth it. Also, use a fine grit sandpaper. Don't bother trying to paint the metal half, it's chrome and will be hard for paint to stick to.
