Story

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake has struck south-east Iran, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reports.

The epicentre of the huge quake was 86km (53 miles) from the city of Khash in Sistan Baluchistan province, near the border with Pakistan.

Tall buildings swayed in the Indian capital Delhi, while tremors were felt across the Gulf and wider Middle East.

At least 37 people were killed and 850 wounded in a 6.3 magnitude quake in south-west Iran on 10 April.

The quake struck south of the country's only nuclear power station in Bushehr, which operators said was undamaged.

Already considered that, but i never discount what i can't prove or disprove. Possibilities are endless in a world filled with chaos. Often the best place to hide the truth is right in front of your face, especially if you have blinders on. As I said before this was timely and I don't believe in coincidences, I'm not going to speculate on it either way (not now)...just watch everything closely.

Some good news at least, that would be the last thing the region needed if it got damaged.

At least we aren't burning flags and chanting.....nonetheless OT is not the American public. It's not even composed entirely of Americans. Earthquakes happen....shame...but I don't recall you caring about them when they happen in the US. So shut it....

First off I'm an American so anything that happens in this country (natural or foreign) affects me. While I may not be able to post my opinion on OT, I do care. Second, when 9/11 happened, the people of Iran had a vigil/prayer held for the victims. U.S. and Iran may not have the best relationship, but the least you can do as a human being is to offer your sympathies to the families affected.

Because the families are on OT waiting for that amirite? Get over yourself. It's a shame...but nature does what nature wants and borders don't stop nature. There is nothing here for us to do...and patting yourself on the back because you say a couple words on a forum and then go on with your day unaffected is arrogant.

Dude I have family that was affected by it. I'm sure some of the other Muslim posters we have here also have families affected by it. Have a bit of respect/humanity for the deceased is all I'm saying.

On the bright side it's just stupid people voicing their opinions. I remember reading stuff on a certain website yesterday and there were loads of people making fun of the victims of the Boston Marathon blasts.

Already considered that, but i never discount what i can't prove or disprove. Possibilities are endless in a world filled with chaos. Often the best place to hide the truth is right in front of your face, especially if you have blinders on. As I said before this was timely and I don't believe in coincidences, I'm not going to speculate on it either way (not now)...just watch everything closely.

hmmm, another case of "The Pseudobulbar affect". Often done by those who can't express what they feel or think. The poorest attempt at derailment for the sake of keeping their own beliefs in tact. too easy.
