If America and the UN really had the interests of world peace in mind, they would have invaded Iran faster than they did to Iraq. I guess the post 9/11 period made them want to attack someone, anyone, but it's clear their intentions were not for world peace... And that leads to the point someone else made about Iraq selling oil in euros.RiSkyBiZ-13
If USA really had the intention of peacekeeping they should stop funding terrorists and dictators. And maybe try that crazy idea of not starting wars.
Hey that's just me.
Cheers

Yes you did, even if you didn't started that war, so it's not the best example. But then you had learned that economic instability leads to extremism and wars. And USA had economists that convinced the administration that rebuilding western Europe would be good for the USA. At that time you had the insight that democracy and stability was imortant. Unfortunately the cold war ended that wisdom. And don't get me wrong, as an European i'm grateful for what you did during the WWII. It's just what USA have done since then that i disagree with :)
Ah, and sorry for bumping, i was just bored and was wandering through the forum. My Bad.
I don't care if there are less people being killed. If I killed 20 people you know, then 19 the next day should you be happy? Should you assume that it will be 18 next time (I may go back up to 20)? And if you did you are sick for thinking that ANY number of people dying is a good thing.
The truth is, soldiers may have died but why should MORE die? I don't want my tax $$ going to world-police work, especially against a country that was not a threat to us..
