I've never shopped online before. I was looking for a some a CD/DVD version of Linkin Park's 'Meteora'. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I was told to search it on amazon.com

I'm also looking for some Wii games.

Is Amazon reliable? Are there any better sites to buy online? If any defects, can I get my product returned/fixed? Basically, can I trust it to get what I'm looking for and not being charged extra or anything?

I prefer amazon over ebay or any other shopping site. Highly recommended from me.

Amazon is a very good site to buy from. It's reliable, and it's easy to return items (they will replace them if needed). Also, it is often cheaper than retail stores. I use it to buy a bunch of stuff, from textbooks to music to video games. Definitely recommended. Just don't buy from any of the 3rd party sellers unless they've got very positive ratings (i.e. at least 90, preferably 95+).

Trust us, it's very, very reliable. Much more reliable than E-Bay. Zero problems.

Never had any problems with Amazon itself. I have had one problem with the Amazon Marketplace though, but that's not really Amazon's fault.

It's one of the best online retailers. You usually get more bang for your buck from them.

Amazon is the best. Free shipping for most items as long as you spend $25.

It's probably second only to google as far as the most useful websites go.

You can find pretty much anything on there, and things are just about always on the up and up.

I've bought a few things off Amazon and I can say that it was totally stress free. But I never got anything that had to be returned though.

The only places I shop online is Newegg and Amazon, very good sites. And some random stores for metal t-shirts... cause I buy those.

I did, once - I bought Guitar Hero: World Tour and the guitar was defective. They sent me a replacement and gave me 30 days to send them back the defective version. It was a very painless experience.

What kind of question it this? Have you been living under a rock? JK (but seriously) Amazon is basically the best place to buy online. There prices are great, they usually have free shipping, the have everything, they have great customer service. They have a price guarantee, I got almost 100 dollars back when they price went down on the TV I had just bought. I have gotten some other refunds, like when they shipped it to me 3 day instead of standard becuase the 3 day was defualt they refunded the shipping.

I've had some good experiences shopping at amazon.com. However, don't plan to download movies because of severe copyright issues.

You should try buying games on newegg.com. Pretty much all of the newest games are in the 49.99 - 56.99 range, plus free shipping for all of them, and as long as newegg isn't in your state, it's all tax free. Though, I use amazon to find older games that I can't get anywhere else.

Ever since Amazon came into my life, I don't know the meaning of "brick & mortar" stores. When it comes to CDs, books, DVDs, videogames, etc. Amazon takes up over 95% of my purchases and have rarely ever ran into any problems (and if I did, it would be a merchant's fault). Pretty much everything you buy from their warehouse is the exact quality of an in-store product, for a (usually) significantly reduced price (remember, orders over $25 get free shipping!). Go with them, they offer the best service, so they deserve your business.

Amazon.com is excellent. I've gotten some great deals on textbooks that are normally really expensive.

I love amazon.com. It is very reliable if you are buying directly from the site and not a personal seller. I can't say they're (individualt sellers) unreliable as I have never bought from them, but I wouldn't rule them out as an option.
