Well, I have a soul, so I believe in the resurrection of the dead and in life beyond death. And I am not afraid of death, which can be either painful or painless.

not afraid of death but i must say that i dont wanna die.

i like living and all, but nothing last forever. if im gonna die (early, as in before my time) i hope its painfull and explosive and aswesome. i dont wanna just conk out and have nothing to show for it. id rather get caught in an explosion or shot then die of old age oraids or somthing.

I do not fear death, but I'd prefer it be later rather than sooner.

I fear dying like how I die but not death itself.

I think most are to a certain extent. You may learn to accept death, but there's still a small bit of fear in having to experience something unfamiliar to yourself or the actual process itself.

I am willing to bet that the radical majority of people here had a gun pointed at your head knowing you were going to die, they would be afraid...

I'm not scared of the unavoidable. I am scared of loosing my life without having a baby on this Earth before I've left.

I most definitely would be, but I think people are more scared of being killed rather than dying which are 2 different things imo.

Death is a part of life, so why fear it? Besides, death isn't the end, it's the beginning.

I don't believe there is anyone on this planet who is completely sane and sober who would not be frightened when thinking in depth about their death and what will happen after.

I ask because my mom just came up to me with tears in her eyes. She had a dream in which I died.

Made me realize that although I'm not afraid of my death; she is.

Here's the bottom line. When your young, you won't be afraid of dying, when your old and in your last years then yes you will be afraid.

I thought it was the exact opposite of that.

Well young people tend to not worry about things like death but when it actually is coming around (when your old) people start thinking about it a lot and start becoming religious and all that.

no parent should have to bury their child, it should be the other way around. Im not afraid of death.. but I am afraid of what happens after death. heck.. death could just be the beginning..
