If you go back to old movies and tv shows, you'll find that men used to be very hairy. For example:

Sean Connery's bond:

He seemed to be able to get away with this because of the times and because... well.... he's **** Sean Connery.

Then, around the 80s there seemed to be a shift with movies like Rambo in which Sylvester Stallone has no hair at all. In today's world, all men seem to be completely shaven or even waxed. For example,

Daniel Craig's bond:

I chose bond since that's the character that has been around so long, and has changed dramatically.

So OT, I ask you. Is chest hair manly?

yes, you must wear a button down shirt with the top few buttons unbuttoned, with hair coming out the top. or if you want to be REALLY manly, have them all buttoned, with hair STILL coming out the top.

That sucks, I will never be manly then, I have the bad beard gene and I can't grow chest hair for my life. This thread makes me feel like a little girl.

I got about the same amount as Daniel Craig in the OP's pic. I personally don t have a problem with chest hair, but a lot of people I know do.

Well... its definitely not womanly.

A lot of women I know think its manly, though most of them don't think back, armpit and pubic hair is sexy/manly.

Kind of manly I'd say. I know some gay guys that like to sport it so it kind of changed my view.
