Funny isn't it? People can view it either way, yet every year some people get all offended and/or overly defensive about it... If it turns out to be true that there is an afterlife and that accepting Christ as your Saviour is the only true path to salvation then I guess everyone who rejects him in this life is gonna be in for a nasty, eternal surprise... and if not? Well, it won't really matter much will it?I dont know but people will get offended about it one way or the other.

[QUOTE="fidosim"]Santa is Jesus.NiKvaSanta is Saint Nicholas. Saint Nicholas is not Jesus, therefore Santa =/= Jesus. You so ignant. LOL, you called someone ignorant, yet you spelled "ignorant" wrong. :o
Shouldnt matter, they both kinda represent the same thing. Lets put it this way....I dont think Jesus would mind sharing his Bday with a figure that brings joy to children.chilly-chillthis. who cares as long as it brings joy. this is the best time of the year

I don't want to know if you're serious :cry:Actually it's not his birthday... Either way, I'd still celebrate it for Santa.Santa is like the heart of Christmas but Christmas is Jesus Birthday

And here I though it was about families spending time with each other. :PChristmas is not even for Santa or Jesus anymore. Its about presents.

My religion prevent me from celebrating Christmas as Jesus's birthday. So I just pretend to celebrate it, and I get free stuff!
'tis for Santa!
both. it means too many different things to different people to be a right answer.
for me its about being with family, gift giving, and most importantly celebrating the birth of jesus christ.
i know one thing for sure, i will not let my kids forget the true meaning of christmas when i have kids. yes, im gonna do the whole santa thing and whatnot, but i wont let them grow up with the misconception of not knowing the true meaning of christmas.
Well, you sure picked the wrong date to celebrate the supposed birth of Jesus Christ.both. it means too many different things to different people to be a right answer.

Santa by nature supports Christmas, so can't be the core of it.
No matter really what mythos you use Santa choose the holiday of Christmas as the day to give out his gifts.
The Holiday(and its core) thereby must proceed him, and thus he is disqualified
