what bands are you talking about? :? of you mean crap like Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Bullet for my Velentine ,etc. those aren't metal...

I do believe he is reffering to popular metal bands, so I guess those bands fit the bill.

I wouldn't call Avenged or Killswitch crap though. They are 2 good bands. I will admit that the new Avenged cd is absolutely atrocious and I wouldn't even consider it metal at this point.....

Thier lyrics are terrible and completely cheesy, but that's one of the things i like about them. :lol:

I don't take them too seriously, but it's fun to listen to now and again, and just laugh at the crazy guitar parts. :P

You should try playing Through the Fire and Flames on guitar hero on expert.

It is one of only 2 songs in the series that I can't pass on expert. The other one is of course Jordan by Buckethead....

I saw that in the video review... it looked awesome to say the least!

I've only ever played GH1, and that was a booth in Toys R Us ages ago.

I was thinking about getting GH3 for my wii, but i'm probably gonna get Rock Band when that comes to Europe and when i finally get a ps3. I can't wait. :P

Generic power metal with a ****** gimmick that artists can't even live up to. All the songs sound the same and are boring. Terrible songwriting. So repetitive. Hell yes they are.

To me, Dragonforce isn't only overrated but it's overplayed as well. I listen to Knac.com everyday and sometimes they play a lot of musics from that band. I listened to a few said musics but they all look and sound the same:

- fast guitars which drives me tired of listening even in the lowest volume

- the musics sound like it would fit well in a generic medieval rpg game

- as well as sounding identical to each other. i mean, i'm noticing some sort

of pattern between them. it's like hip-hop music with those same beats and claps.

because i don't know power metal well, the band can make me have a bad impression about the genre.
