Just want to get a sense of the opinions here on GS.

P.S. Please include the verse and chapter name when referring to content in  a religious book.

Don't go saying the Bible says drinking is wrong unless you can prove it.

No. The act of drinking is perfectly fine. It's the actions of some people that drink that are immoral. There is nothing wrong with drinking as long as it is done at the proper time and place and is done in moderation.

If you're a Puritan, maybe. But otherwise, everyone has a drink now and then. My parents pretty much only drink on our holy holidays and they have wine.

Irresponsible.  Anyways, I said usually.  Drinking and not getting drunk... I guess it's sorta ok, but that stuff does damage to your body.

I've never met a person in my school who talks about "that party tht one time where they had that one drink People should not be allowed to drink if all they're going to do is get drunk, and do something stupid, like knock someone up. However, if you can have a drink or two, and then stop, you go right ahead.

How can it be morally wrong, its always been around, even Jesus drank alcohol.

Most deaths caused by alcohol are caused by losers drinking too much

I think using drugs to alter your feelings / Behaviour in any way is wrong. Besides, I see how everyone started drinking and smoking just because their friends did, and I feel sorry for people that become addicted to something just because of that...
