Ok, at first I saw Ryu and was like...meh it's ok I guess, not the stupidest thing I've seen. Pretty iconic character.
Then I saw the entire street fighter roster....WTF Who can say they have Street Fighter's roster on their back? HAHAHA

Wow, no. Looks fine on my arm in person.Just looks really plain and out of place, if you had it on your shoulder blade with a pattern around it then yeah it would look good.

I had the mockup on my shoulder blade and it looked awful so I went with the arm... And its my first tattoo. You're implication is suggesting that I would also pre-judge the person? You know nothing about me then, and this conversation is pointless if you think I'm just blowing smoke up your ***, so I'll stop. No I am not. I'm asking what would you think or if you would see it like it, you are really throwing that saint, me being a judge/jury and executioner act around to avoid a real answer...seriously it seems you may have some of these tats yourself or your favorite team lost yesterday or something...I never said I knew you or knew anything about you, it's the freaking net man. Chill, there is no need for foul language. I don't have any tattoos myself, I reacted the way I did because of the snarky "Really...". I thought you were implying that I would react the same way you do. I apologize if you didn't mean it that way, I once again need a chill-pill on the forums, sorry. The way I react to tattoos is just to admire the artwork that people have added to themselves, regardless of whether it's something I would put on my own skin.[QUOTE="Atheos-Arkhaios"][QUOTE="IWKYB"] Oh, how would you see it then? Really...IWKYB

why does that make him an idiot? wouldn't it be more idiot to get a tattoo than a piercing? since, ya know, tattoos are permanent and piercings are not.Na, my friend got his nipples pierced. When I saw him after that a slapped him in the nipple for being an idiot.

did it hurt?No not really. Just a really hard pinching feeling. If you're worried about pain, don't be. Its really not that bad.[QUOTE="Ultrabeatdown55"]

The girl I fancy wants to get a tattoo for her upcoming birthday. I think her bare back is perfect the way it is. I should probably tell her that.
:o
hmm...no, not really. I don't have a lot of friends so that leaves few to be gettting tats. I myself have a half sleeve on my left arm and started on a half sleeve on the right. Tattoos are becoming more popular tho.
[QUOTE="IWKYB"][QUOTE="Atheos-Arkhaios"] Read the above post. Really man do people need trival tats in their bicep right after they go tan and hang with their bros and totally awesome afternoon dude!Atheos-ArkhaiosIt doesn't seem to be my place to project meaning (or lack thereof) onto their tattoos, does it? So what if it seems dumb to you, maybe it means more to them then you may think. And if it doesn't, if it's just because it "looks cool", then I repeat, so what? It's their skin, it's not a big deal. If it "looks" cool then I was right at saying they are getting them to get attention or "look at me". That is what we were talking about. I have a tattoo of a guitar on my forearm, some people think it's stupid but it means a lot. And my dad's got one on his upper arm that isn't just to "look cool". Sure, the tattoos look cool, but we don't get them for attention.
Can't say my friends are doing that at the moment. Why are there always people up on their moral high ground saying that tattoos are just "look at me" brands?
Atheos-Arkhaios
Because for a lot of people, that's exactly what they are.
Sure, plenty of people have great and well thought out tattoos. But for example, something like half the girls I work with have a small butterfly or flower behind the ear, or "handlebars" above the ass. That kind of **** absolutely screams nothing more than "I got a tattoo because tats are popular, and these are the tats that the other girls are getting."

So society is responsible for these tats in the end. We are all guilty.
