Hostel is excellent. It is very well possible that there are places like that in the world its very, very possible. SilvrDog

hostel wasn't ****. if you want a TRUE gore flick, check out Cannibal Holocaust, by Ruggero Deodato. It's hard to get a copy nowadays, but it's probably the most disgusting and disturbing movie you'll ever see.

in fact, it was so disturbing and realistic, that the authorities had it banned, and Ruggero Deodato was sent to court, and he was forced to show them how some of the special effects were made. (like the impalement scene.) He also had to bring back ALL the actors to show that they weren't actually killed during the filming of the movie.

but if you want a more depressing, and even MORE sadistic movie, check out Pier Passolini's 120 Days of Sodom;)

those movies you mentioned made me feel sick, im glad you know them:D
