It is more annoying for me when I type something that took me a while, only to accidently press the "page back" button near my arrow keys, then to press forward and find nothing and feel like it was a waste of time and not being bothered to write it all again.

Is it an annoyance when you respond to a post in a rather lengthly and thoughtful manner only to hit submit and see the thread has been locked? Generally when you consider it to be a good post as well....

burpysmurph

Yes it is, but what do you do? Go to sleep and wake up to your job? Then start the BS all over again? I hate life.

And are you also, by any chance, misunderstood?

Not a Ninja. Ninja's die because they work on obsolete principles.

It is. :x However I prefer short answers so the loss when you realize that the thread has been locked isn't so big.

Ugh, I hate that...

If only I could count how many times I hit Submit only to yell out, "Noooooo!"

Hey_Jay

Cue that. Its even more annoying if the connection times out and you have to repost the entire thing.

I have no experienced that. What I find more annoying is writing a thoughtful and long post only for it to be ignored so that others could insult each other.

Yes. It doesn't happen to often, but when it does it drives me nuts. Especially when you've been going back and forth with someone.btaylor2404

I get that quite often. I've got into the habit of pressing ctrl-a and then ctrl-c before clicking 'submit'.

Since I turned off the wizzywig editor, I haven't had a single blank message glitch.

Use the picture tool in the post, don't use

Or don't use the editor at all. And then everything works as expected every time.

You have to learn all the html codes before you can really use it.

The only thing that's hard is colors. And I just don't bother. Otherwise, it took me like 2 days to learn, just by quick quoting things and reading the code and emulating it.
