That glass isn't even half-way filled, because the capacity at the top is greater than the capacity at the bottom.

[QUOTE="br0kenrabbit"]TC got owned lol All it does is prove the point of my thread, it's not both. But many people complicate things, there should be none, hopefully this makes you better human beings. That glass isn't even half-way filled, because the capacity at the top is greater than the capacity at the bottom.

What if we cut off the top half of the glass?dave123321There will still be half. Unless you disintegrate, there will always be half left. Cutting glass does nothing.
I'd like to see you diploma.jimkabrhel*You're You may need some English(AU) lessons there. Luckily I cam a professor.
Incorrect. Let's use this as an example, the norovirus is spreading like cheese on toast, and it's chances of getting to someone else is very very high. So when you are thirsty and want a glass of water, and they have glasses of water at a table in the office or for this glasses of soda as that would make more sense. Now, say Jill has the virus, and she drank out the cup, and all the other cups were filled up by someone else. Now let;s say she got here drinks mixed in. I would rather know which cup is half empty instead of half full because we would know who drank it preventing the virus no? -college pwofessorIt's not whether the glass is half-full or half-empty. It's what's in the glass that counts.

Right, but how am I to apply this to the philosophy on how to live my life?Maniacc1Basically, when things in your life go wrong and you/or you lose something you feel is wanted/needed/important, you can always fill up what was taken away you. Even if you are struggling to do so, you can relax once you get half way there, and you will no you have an even chance f success or moving on depending on the scenario. -college pwofessor.

It's true, personally that virus is temp but a pain in the butt from what I read, in that situation, you need to know if the glasses are half full or empty.[QUOTE="jimkabrhel"]I'd like to see you diploma.DiceofSpades*You're You may need some English(AU) lessons there.
