Is it hard for g@y people to find other g@y people?

I'm not homosexual but I was just thinking it probably has to be harder and more frustrating to find a boyfriend or girlfriend if you're gay since there apparently are no gaydar devices.

I'd imagine that they'd have to compensate by dropping standards.
