usually "nice" guys are super beta puss!es that try to buy and use favors to get in chicks pants, instead of being able to actually get the girl. Ok, so theres a question spinning in my head. Yesterday, we had a debate about sex, boys and girls. So the "so called pro teacher" about that stuff, told us that if a guy is being very nice to people and that, its a problem becuse it seem's to be a girl thing. Boys should be a lil bit like a douche bag or something. But im not like that. Im a nice guy and im not a douche bag. Im nice to other people, or atleast those who like me. All who hate me im not so nice to them. They can F off. But anyway, is it a problem for a guy to be a nice guy?

If you're nice and genuine and polite then what more can you do? You are doing the right thing. it is them who have the problem. You may encounter having less friends but those who are you will see that they are genuinly nice people. Hanging around the environment that you accossiate with the most will get you the most friends.

Sometimes people are anti social because of school work and other things going on in their life just remember that, so if no one is talking to you don't sweat it, they are probably dealing with some things. Sorry I had checked your profile and say your other thread about people not talking to you. I thought they were associated so I posted withboth ideas in mind.

Anyway I am nice and don't have any problems. Remember the bible says to love those the same as you love yourself. Or as well treat people the way yo want to be treated. If you are nice you will not have any problems with anybody. It's true. If you have a bad opinion about somebody chances are they too have a bad opinion about you. So just be caring. loving , helpful, compassionate. It's they way to be.

Just don't be too nice, don't always say yes.

Lets be serious here. Most nice guys are boring and most likely play it on the safe side. They hardly take any risks and are too stiff. At our age who wants to hang out with a boring person. I am honestly not mad at these girls out here for stomping on these pushovers.MgamerBD

I use to be pretty shy and nice, but I tooka bunch of risks to be a bit more friendly around girls and other people and it has payed off a bit even though I did have a couple of failures while taking these risks.

The problem is that this isn't a binary question with a spectrum that only includes douche or nice. It should be a full spectrum of everything in between. A 'nice guy' is usually somebody who's insecure and manipulates people by trying to get everybody to like them because they don't think people would like them if they act like themselves. A good guy is what you're probably thinking about in that you can be, not an a-hole to people but can if need be. Basically, you're the normal guy type but you don't feel the need to be "nice" all the time. This works for dating women too. Don't be a nice guy, be the good guy.
