I was afraid that connection might be made. While I do believe both are morally wrong, I do not classify them as the same if there is such thing as a way to measure "bad" vs "really bad." The intention of my statement was to say that his argument could also be used of much worse things if true.

I'm not going to equate pedophilia to homosexuality, nor am I defending pedophilia in anyway here. But I think that those whom are attracted in such a way to children may very well have serious psychological problems that they don't have control over, and consequently certain urges.

I do not disagree. I'm merely showing that his argument doesn't work when used with regards to other moral questions and thus should be rejected entirely as an argument. I'm not trying to equate homosexuality to pedophilia. I merely used that as an example being that his argument also "fit well" with a far worse sexual deviancy.

Why do some people think finding a person of the same sex attractive as gay It's just like seeing a model - he looks cool, but you develop no feelings. Girls sometimes get jealous of another female's beauty - does that make her gay?
You could also see it it this way. You see a ugly guy against a model. Does knowing that the model looks better the other guy suddenly make you gay?
