She's an adult dog. She drinks milk. Your statement is simply incorrect.thegergyou're not supposed to give her milk.
[QUOTE="ZumaJones07"]humans are the only animals who still drink milk past childhoodthegergNot true. My dog drinks milk, she's no longer a pup. My cat does too, but the lactose free stuff made for cats.
Anyway... there are as many cons to pros on drinking milk. Personally I only have use milk in my tea and coffee, but unfortunately I have recently developed an intolerance to lactose so I can't use regular milk in anything more than that or it causes me to feel sick. In that way milk is bad for me... unless I get the lactose free stuff, but then I pretty much will be drinking the same stuff I get for my cat.
Dey always tell you to drink milk so I do.BloooMoonMonNice username man, it is good for the bones indeed (I do not drink enough). To everyone claiming humans are the only animals that drink milk after infancy... Us Humans are the only animals that do alot of things.
I drink milk and it makes me feel good. I think it largely depends where your milk is from. Some companies use growth hormones so their cows produce more milk. Probably water is the only healthy thing to drink as it's one of very few drinks that isn't half sugar.
Milk itself simply provides nutrients that you COULD get elsewhere, but also could get from it. There is nothing 'bad' about milk. If you drink whole milk, the only danger is becoming a bit pudgy because it has a high fat content. But other than that, there is nothing bad or unhealthy about it, just somewhat unnatural. XilePrincessI don't know of any drink that is natural for adults.

Most ethnicities have trouble drinking cow milk (they don't produce enough lactase to break down the lactose). Descendants of Northern Europeans have been drinking cow milk for so long we've adapted.
So I guess the answer depends upon your genetic ethnicity.
Too bad california is the cheese state now.I'm from Wisconsin so I naturally have enough lactase for 10 people.

Their cheese tastes like rubber.
It is a disgrace to dairy.
Of course milk is good for you. Some are scared of calcium stones, but that is more of your body not digesting and distributing right than milk being bad. Don't be scared to have a glass a day, that's for sure, makes your bones strong!

Well, actually, they believe the reason girls in particular are developing so early now is due to milk (IGF-1 (Insulin-like growth factor 1) molecule is the main suspect).
Milk, being what it is, is full of growth hormones. Great for an infant (or calf), but maybe not so great for a pre-teen.

Not affecting boys?Large quantities of milk helps so much when your on a bulk, good and easy source of protein and fat....i'm bulking now and have like a litre a day :P
Is that too much? lol
[QUOTE="ZumaJones07"]humans are the only animals who still drink milk past childhoodthegergNot true. My dog drinks milk, she's no longer a pup. You shouldn't be giving that dog milk unless you bought "milk" that is specially made for dogs. Dogs usually drink water, not milk.
Didn't anyone watch the video to which the link I posted leads? In it, it is explained that artificial hormones which are adverse to Human health can be found in milk. Hence, I've ended this discussion. Milk is bad for you (but I still drink it, in moderation).

Not affecting boys?To some degree, but not so much as girls. Girls usually start puberty before boys anyway, this just exacerbates the issue.
I think it's the interplay between IGF-1 and estrogen that does the most damage, so yeah mostly girls.
Milk is nasty! A calf will only consume a sow's milk up until a point after which it actually is toxic to a calf and detrimental to a calf's growth and development. Visit www.notmilk.com Humans drinking another animals milk is just gross even when the milk hasn't been contaminated by other things such as rocket fuel additives which have been found in samples from store bought milk from numerous different states.
