It's good for you in controlled portions.

If its normal milk I sh*t and fart all day Bucked20beats the alternative of not sh*ting and farting in a day.
It does have some nutrients like calcium, but it also creates problems for your digestive system. There's some study that people who drank less (or no, forgot) milk maintained better moods because milk takes more energy for your system to process or something like that.
How exactly is it bad for you? Are we only supposed to drink water and all live to the age of 250? Of course it's fine. It's been fine for hundreds of years. I bet those saying it's bad for you wouldn't hesitate to poison their organs with alcohol.El3ctrosisV2
It's hard on your digestive system, and yes that's exactly what we're supposed to do. And yes, alcohol does mess with your organs.

How is it hard on your digestive system? Why is it that all the health and safety lunatics out there are saying all of a sudden can't drink milk? These are the same people who would make you wear and high viz jacket while eating a meal.
And I know alcohol messes with your organs. Learn to read, I didn't say they didn't.

I don't know, I'm not a dietician, I just know it's harder for us to process than most foods. Same goes for meat, iirc, best thing you can do as far as digestion is eat a ton of raw vegetables.
I was agreeing with you about the alcohol part.
Why are you guys still discussing this? I posted a link to a video in which it is explained that milk has artificial hormones which are detrimental to Human health. What is there to discuss? It's bad for you.

Plant matter is more difficult to digest than meat. Those plant cell walls are hard to break down. This is why herbivores have much longer guts (and sometimes multiple stomachs) than carnivores. Omnivores, such as humans, have medium-length guts.
It's a great source of easily acquired nutrition, provided one doesn't have lactose intolerance and it doesn't fvck with #2. According to a plethora of medical research, it improves immune function, reduces the risk of cardiac issues, cholesterol buildup, hypertension, (presumably type 2) diabetes, and some forms of cancer. Granted, it's not quite a miracle food and excessive milk consumption does carried increased risks for Parkinson's and prostate cancer (which in particular is associated with an overconsumption of calcium).
Not true. My dog drinks milk, she's no longer a pup. My cat does too, but the lactose free stuff made for cats.[QUOTE="thegerg"][QUOTE="ZumaJones07"]humans are the only animals who still drink milk past childhoodfantasyfacade
Anyway... there are as many cons to pros on drinking milk. Personally I only have use milk in my tea and coffee, but unfortunately I have recently developed an intolerance to lactose so I can't use regular milk in anything more than that or it causes me to feel sick. In that way milk is bad for me... unless I get the lactose free stuff, but then I pretty much will be drinking the same stuff I get for my cat.
I also seem to not be able to digest milk propely anymore. Milk on it's own only though, I can have it in coffees, cakes, scrambled eggs, etc. as long as its mixed. As well as other dairy products I have no problem with. I drink Soy milk now. Please Log In to post.
