Personally i would be happy with like 60k per year. I aim for more to be able to support a family; wife and kids. So in a family setting i would need about $200K to be completely happy.
100% definitely I either don't believe people that say it doesn't... or figure they lowered expectations after they realize they'll never have a lot of it.
Yes, money is important to me, but the problem is that I have a hard time spending it. Seriously,if I spend $50 I start to have a panic attack. I need a cure.

Pretty much says it all. But for me, buying anything I want without my finances hurting would mean I'd have to be fairly rich. :P I seem to remember there was some research done a while ago that showed when a person hits a certain level of financial stability, their and a rich person's happiness level are relatively similar. Past a point, the amount doesn't matter. Hard for me to imagine though. Those that are just as satisfied are more than likely just ignorant of what they're missing, just like a poor person is of richer folk.
Well i like to do things and buy things so yes money is important to me. it gets me what I want. Right now I plan on getting a new pair of Circa shoes and a white Boston Red Sox hat with a black b on it. I like to spend :)
It's important to me to an extent. I don't want to ever be at a point in my life where I don't have an earned source of income, because I just want to be secure financially, and not have to have that extra worry on my mind. As long as I can put away a little bit of every paycheck into my savings account, I'm happy.

No, and I think the fact that I have learned to be happy with whatever I have is my problem. I don't strive for success because what use is money when there is nothing Idesire?
Yes, to a certain extent. Its a barometer to measure success for me. There were times way back when where I don't have any money and it caused all sort of problems. I know it can't buy happiness, but it could definitely be a source of unhappiness if don't have enough of it
It's very difficult to have an enjoyable life w/o money. Though the same holds true if you have no loved ones (friends/family). I'm not sure which is worse though
