Almost all online merchandise use PayPal payment format, so I'm not going too far as to saying it's very safe

Some people think that its not safe for reasons such as having their account hacked and the normal computer problems. But I've used it for a long time and havnt run into a problem yet

Yes, and be sure to sign up for the Money Market option. It's free and your PayPal balance earns interest.  While it is theoretically possible to lose money with that in the abstract, it's probably astronomically unlikely. Suffice it to say it's never happened.

Well I had my credit card information stolen and some douche in the UK bought a whole lot of crap. Paypal froze my account, then when I got the bank to credit me back I still couldnt use my card. So then I cancelled my account with Paypal and I STILL couldnt use my card because of the freeze Paypal put on it. Then I got a whole new card and couldnt even use that for a while. So my answer is a definite NO!
