Come on, is there any other song ever that is so perfect in so many ways? If anyone knows one, please give me a link here.

Its a fantastic song but their is no universal "Best" song. Like imo, the best song ever is Black by Pearl Jam or Mayonaise by the Smashing Pumpkins.

It's a great song, not the best song ever however.

No, I think the parts of the doctor (or whoever) talking to Pink drag it down a little. Still, it's one of the best songs ever.

I wish you were here

I find "I wish you were here" to be better than "Comfortably Numb". Shine on your crazy Diamond is another truelly great song by Pink Floyd.

Though, I don't find either of Pink Floyd's songs to be the best ever.

Saying a song is the best one ever is tough. Sometimes I listen to Comfortably Numb and I do think that, but sometimes I listen to Dogs and I think that is the best Pink Floyd song. It all depends on the moment it is hard to pick just one, some tunes work fantasticaly sometimes but when you are not in the mood they just fall flat.

I do think the two solos on the song are the best guitar solos of all time. :D

Pink Floyd is one of my favorite (if not my favorite) band of all time. Comfortably Numb is a masterpiece, but not the best song ever IMO. I still like Wish You Were Here more, as well as other songs. C.N. is still better than 99.9% of other popular song though.

Haven't you guys watched Tenacious D? The song that tribute is for is "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. But Comfortably Numb is certainly up there

It's a great song, but not the best song in my oppinion. I don't think i'd be able to pick one specific song for best song ever. Comfortably Numb is certainly up there though.
