I just saw it and it was amazing.

theres one particular scene in the movie where Clive Owen's character is running around a battlezone with gunshots and explosions going off constantly. The scene lasts for about 5 minutes and I didnt catch a single edit in there.

great GREAT film. Probably one of the most underrated stories of all time. **SPOILER** When the entire battle stops and time seems to stand still when the baby cries gives me chills every time.

Magnificent film. It's easily up there with the best in terms of cinematography. I really need to watch it again.

The cinematography is beautiful. But, if you want to see the MOST beautiful shot film ever, watch Stanley Kubrick's "Barry Lyndon"....

Watch "The New World" or "Days of Heaven". Those are beautifully shot films. "Children of Men" has good cinematography, but it doesn't compare to Malick.

No. If you want to see some great filming, watch Arnold Scwharzenneger's "Commando". That movie was just beautiful.

Yep, they shot that entire scene in one take. The part where the blood gets on the camera wasn't even supposed to happen but they kept it in because they couldn't redo the scene and liked the way it looked anyway.

It's a good movie. But it was edited at that shot. Meaning those "single long shots" were actually multiple shots strung together to look like one shot.

Best of all time? Not sure about that but it is up there. The use of long tracks makes it look real and amazing. The entire care scene with the whole ping pong ball thing was one long shot as well.

Well, it was a VERY good one-shot scene, but that doesn't make it the best shot film ever. Many other films have incredible cinematography.

Although its a great film and wonderfully shot I wouldnt say its anywhere near the best, I mean theres alot of comparable tracking shots from films like Atonement, Boogie Nights, to Orson welles Touch of Evil, and besides tracking shots, in general it's probably no where near the best, athough still very good.

You know I'm as Macho as the next Bad Dude, but I almost cried during the battle scene. :(

I can't say of all time, cos I have yet to see all the beautifully shot films, but it really is an inspiring film.

not to mention 'Russian Ark' and 'Rope'. But the one in Atonement was pretty darn impressive.

I have to say the Bourne series had much better camera work. It really gave the movie a gritty feel to it.

If you have any interest whatsoever in cinematography Baraka is essential viewing. Brick is another. Anything Christopher Doyle shoots turns to gold. And Zimou Zhang's Hero, House of Flying Daggers and Curse of the Golden Flower are all beautifully shot.

It's the most beautifully s**t film of all time...I mean, explain why she could give birth and noone else could, or what happens at the end...It could've been great. Instead it was mediocre at best.
