[QUOTE="JabbaDaHutt30"][QUOTE="Silenthps"]"but how do you know it's infallible?"

Because after 2000 years it has yet to be found fallible. Thus destroyeth thy wheel

Silenthps

You know that the Bible is infallible because, according to you, it was never proven otherwise?

Well me plus thousands of scholars and apologist who study it intensely and conclude it to be so.

Any souces?

This says otherwise.

"but how do you know it's infallible?"

Because after 2000 years it has yet to be found fallible. Thus destroyeth thy wheel

Is that what you want to believe? Of course some parts of it are being constantly proven false or are proven to be of different nature of what it is originally proposed by theists. Thus destroyeth thy confidence.

Actually the opposite occurs. It's constantly being proven true.

Again I am asking for souces for that claim. Oh and no stuff like, it's "historically accurate", because that doesn't prove major points of the religious dogma.

What about other books from other religions?

Lots of people claim those to be true and infallible too.

I need a source to prove that apologist believe the bible to be infallible? The whole point of being an apologist is to prove that the bible is infallible...

You also mentioned scholars.

Besides you said it yourself: the apologetics and in turn every headstrong theist will talk about the Bible because he/she is bound to prove it right no matter what. And that is a biased tactic. But as you see the odds are against them...

To my knowledge generally scholars are people who study all sorts of things. Bible scholars are just a category. Apologists can be scholars, but Bible scholars are not necessarily Bible apologists.

meh not in the mood to debate this since i gtg so ill just do another part of the wheel. "but how can you be sure it's the word of God?" Because its 66 books written by over 40men over a period of 1500 years in 3 different continents yet have such a unified message and zero contradictions *in before someone links me to some biased sites full of out of context bible verses to try to prove it has contradictions*

I mean, you know there's a god because you know? Explain.natetodamax
the person who was telling you that was probably trying to explain that he takes God to be a properly basic belief.
