Is Sexual Orientation a choice?(poll)

It is not a choice. Your sexual orientation is determined by biochemistry, you can't change your biochemical reactions in your body on a whim.

You should've worded the question more clearly, there's a big difference between bi-sexuality, heterosexuality and homosexuality and they're all sexual orientations. Now most homosexuals that I know when asked this question tell me that it's not necessarily a choice, they just happen to be attracted to members of their own sex and not the opposite. However, bi-sexuality strikes me as being largely a choice. Most the women I know who are bi admit that they're not totally attracted to women, they simply enjoy the physical part which is why they aren't lesbians.

All in all, who flipping cares. Whether its a choice or not, what other people do behind closed doors is of no concern to anyone else. :)

lol nothing you have said makes sense. Having sex with someone doesnt mean anything about your sexual orientation. Im straight, and I could sleep with a women that Im not attracted to, same as a gay man could sleep with a women, even if he is not attracted to her.

yeah.Also being gay or straight really has nothing to do with sex, its attraction. A man could live his life never having sex ever, but he can be attracted to men his whole life, and never fell attracted to women, he can fantasize about men and care less about women, which would mean he is attracted to men, which would make him gay
