No, because I would sneak them in. I'd hide them under my bed like they were porn or something. This kind of stuff is just ridiculous. When you tell a kid, or me at least, not to read something, it is the first thing I'm going to read. They should have told me not to read the bible, not to clean my room, and not to eat my vegetables.

Talking about this I remember that I couldn't watch Card Captor Sakura when one of my uncles was in my house. According to him, that show was made by Satan.

I actually have an unbelievable *true* story on this topic.

Years ago (back when I was like 9), my mom saw some BS on the news about Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings films symbolizing the devil and causing nightmares in young kids and was persuading to remove the DVDs out of our house... :roll:

And the last enemy to be destroyed is death. Its a quote from Saint Paul. Its on his parent's graves and Harry doesn't understand this and its a subtle hint I feel at what will happen at the end of the book. Its very Christian in its theme and is probably the most blatantly Christian thing in the book series other than the good verses evil.
