Chess is a complicated game so I feel comfortable losing. But losing at checkers is another story. That game is so simple that if you lose you feel like a real idiot.

I was in that situation and I didn't feel humiliated at all. The thing about Chess comeptition is that player don't judge you by your age, sex or apperance but only for your chess skill. We were playing on the first board. I was 16teen then, had 3rd category and I lost to a 12 year old with a 1st category. After the match we shaked hands, I thanked him for the game and that was all.
