The way i read it she called for help while being locked inside but not injured. She was stabbed when he returned presumably with a knife, but then it makes you wonder how there werent any in the house to begin with. Otherwise she probably would have called 911 / 999 herself right?Witchsight
Was she only stabbed with a knife? They talked about her being disfigured, I would assume she would have a torn up body.
Guy just got sentenced, 24 years minimum. Applauling incident, poor girl, she even stayed with him through previous domestic violence because she loved him. :(
Okay, sure, it's sad, but...not as sad as many of you are making it out to be 0.o. Now, that story about the deranged woman from Texas killing her baby boy, that was pretty sad.

Indeed. If the relationship i had with somebody was a negative one, I would not want to be with them.
Alot of the time, it gets to where the girl is either too scared to leave, or she believe that he still loves her, and they can get past this stage. Or, at least, that's what I've heard.
Hate to say it all, but this is the girls fault just as much as they guys. She should have left him the first time he hit her. She's just as stupid as he is. My heart goes out to her parents and loved ones.

I'll go ahead and assume the house had no windows too, and noting inside the house that she could use to break said windows.
Anyway, if you ask me the father should be allowed to take all his anger out on the culprits face. He'd live, sure, but with a permanently messed up face.
