I don't think so. It's awkward just watching the commercial.
I don't see how this ended up on failblog. Granted, it's a terrible idea, but then again, so are most commercialized toys.
[QUOTE="Morning_Revival"]You need to start linking...12Bulletstoo low of a level. Ohh, my mistake. I didnt notice till now
I've never understood the appeal of toys like this.
I mean, really, why would anyone want to buy a toy dog that drips all over you or a doll that pisses itself?

Or even worse, chews your hair.
At the beginning of the ad I thought (based on you making a thread about it) that it was going to artificially defecate or something. Like so many other children's toys, it relies on (clever?) marketing of a stupid gimmick that they'll probably quickly grow tired of, but other than that I don't see anything wrong with it at all.
The commercial might have some weird undertones to it, but the question is about the toy itself, not the television ad.

Well, I was trying to guess what would possibly be "inappropriate" about it that was not totally outside of the boundaries of realistic possibility for an American toy advertised on television. That was what I came up with.It looks like a horrible idea for a toy, and im actually quite surprised somebody actually followed through with said horrible idea. Just get a real dog. Ridiculous...

Speaking of marketing a cheap gimmick, this is probably the creepiest toy I've ever seen. God I am so glad I grew up in the 90's and not the 60's.
Edit: Actually, wait. This clip puts the TC's to shame. I mean, that slide just flies past innuendo and straight to "this had to have been done on purpose".

The first one almost seems like a sketch comedy or something. So terrible.
The second one. Uh, yeah, I don't think that really needs any comment, but I just wanted to say that by crazy happenstance I said something about Bohemian Rhapsody in another thread about an hour or two ago.

That slide was so wrong yet so hilarious.
And that doll was just plain wrong. >_>
I don't get it. Whats the inappropriate part?Infinite-Zr0
At least some people don't have their minds in the gutter.Unless I'm missing something, I don't see anything wrong with it. When a real dog licks you, you get more water than that.
