"You'll paint yourself white, and fill up with noise" - Radiohead, Nude.

But no, I don't get the impression that Thom is racist.

[QUOTE="MgamerBD"]As long as he ain't blasting racial slurs or slapping women idgafdunl12496

Racism is still alive through the celbration of minorities.

No, celebration of minorities =/= racism. And it does not breed racism either.

You're taking thing literally that are meant metaphorically.  I don't think you get it.

There's this song 'Disarm' by the Smashing Pumpkins.  I'd see a lot of pro-life messages in the comments on Youtube.  A lot of anti-abortionists got the idea that the song was about abortion becasue of the lyric "Cut that little child Inside of me and such a part of you".  Obviously they never heard of the 'inner child', so they take things literally, as if Billy Corgan had an abortion.  Actually he's talking about his parents and the psychological damage they did to him.

This goes right over their heads.

[QUOTE="greatsite21"]You ask a reasonable question dunl12496. I just noticed that radioheads breakthrough single, creep, seems to obsess over skin colour or race: Radiohead are extremely successful and that bothers me. To quote a few lyrics: Cant look you in the eye, youre just like an angel, your skin makes me cry "you float like a feather "mo ali ref in sad tone, contrasting with the tone "in a beautiful world" Now aggressively "i wish i was special youre so **** special" Then he says hes a creep, hes a (black?) widow. If you want to feel disgusted then listen to that song; its embarassing. Somebody in radiohead is racist, i wouldnt let them near my children.

nice thread resurrection

If he is racist, then mind digging up all the songs from various rappers?
