I feel obligated to append "in a closed system", lest we give ammunition to those who invoke entropy as an argument against evolution. :P
You spoiled my bait :(This topic is locked from further discussion.

You spoiled my bait :(I think we would go to the future more then the past.Pretty much proven we can. We already have. But efficently, i think maybe 300+ years. More for going back in time.

I think we would go to the future more then the past. thats what im thinking bc we already theroreticly proven we can go forward. But to go back is a job and a half.Pretty much proven we can. We already have. But efficently, i think maybe 300+ years. More for going back in time.

I still don't know what the trap was.[QUOTE="xaos"]Entropy always increasesGabuEx

I'm lost here, what does entropy has to do with evolution?, I mentioned entropy in this topic because it's reversible (it just doesn't occur without human intervention) and Xaos said that most physical equations outside of thermodynamics are reversible but entropy is part of thermodynamics and reversible, that's the base of rechargable batteries.[QUOTE="GabuEx"][QUOTE="xaos"]Entropy always increasesdragon7x2k

Recharging a battery == not a closed system; my point standsall I know is that nobody here knows enough about anything to give a final conclusion that is worth considering.EMOEVOLUTIONEinstein's Theory of Special Relativity showed over 100 years ago that that traveling near the speed of light will lead to time dilation, which can be considered a form of Time Travel. So yes, even the layman who is well read can come to an honest and final conclusion that is worth considering.
I don't really think we could have a strong impact in time. I mean yeah, it's possible to go to the future like others have said, but that would require so much fuel. And to have any real impact, you'd have to be going like 99.9999% of the speed of light for years...
Crap. I always miss the physics topics. Anyhoo, time travel in the forward direction has already been proven.
I don't think that "traveling" back to the past is technically possible but I'm sure that there are shortcuts to the future.ruinedshadowTime traveling might be possible be if we do then it might cause a paradox
I think Stephen hawking said that too.post if you think humans can or cant travel if you think we can post when you think we can time travel. I think we can in about the next 100 years.
