If by ON you mean IN - there's still 992 years left so the odds would suggest yes...
Depends on the proliferacy of dictatorships wishing to expand their domains...

Actually, if you want to get really technical the 22nd century begins in 2101.
I don't think so, I think people are a lot smarter and careful now than they were 60 years ago.Aquat1cF1sh
hahaha no.
With the upcoming oil problem and the augmentation of the cereal price we will see an increase in the number of war around the world (aka the Irak wars). WW3 will happen, one day, when Russia will be tired of uncle Sam.

This is a cool quote:Very cool, I've always liked that one.
"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

Well wouldn;t you feel better if scoring a century meant you made 1000 runs?
[QUOTE="Berzz"]Why worry about a future war that may or may not happen?mohan88Ok guys, tell Berzz what kinda of weapons will be unleashed if WW3 happens and also tell him what is the most feared weapon?Pulling someone's finger?
[QUOTE="JCblueside"]If there will be, I'm sure it wont be as big as WW2, unless nuclear weapons are invovled.mohan88If WW3 occurs, i don't see a reson why Nukes will NOT be involved.
It completely depends on response.. The United States and other countries use nukes as a last resort, it will be a conventional war for a long time intill one side gets desperate.

Nuclear weapons will become obsolete at least for our enemies. The Missile Defense Shield that is already partially operational, will become fully operational in the US in 2014. And Europe will be protected by the Shield that we are going to build over there, albeit it can be helpful and detrimental.I don't know, comrade Stalin saved the world in the 40s, the leaders of today aren't as noble anymore. akatsuki0wn3doh yea stalin was so great :roll:have to love his policies, which led to millions of his people dying (labor camps)
Hopefully it doesn't happen, but if does I just hope the Mets have won a championship by that time.

Make it the cubs and ill be set.
I just don't see why anyone would want to start another world war. World wars were mostly about gaining new territory but if you try that today, the US and Europe will gang up on you. These days we got a much higher standard then 100 years ago. Inflicting violence upon another living being is a big no-no.

That video explains it pretty well.
I think violence will just keep decreasing, like explained in the above video, and I don't think we will see many large scale wars in the future. I think eventually there'll be no more need for traditional warfare. Traditional military units will only be used for defense of a country. They will probably only be used as a deterrent or when there is need for a lot of manpower in a short amount of time, like for example the National Guard in the US. So they will be used mostly for "just incase" scenarios.
I think that future warfare is going to be more about tiny skirmishes all over the planet, like we have now with terrorism. Intelligence and espionage will become the standard and the only thing that resembles offensive military units, will be specialized squads, like for example SWAT. I intentionaly did not name the special forces in the example because special forces are the military. The military is supposed to "neutralize" the enemy. SWAT is the law enforcement, they are supposed to safe lives and arrest the suspects, not kill them. Like I said before, killing will be a big no-no.
I think that at this rate all the countries will unite at some point in the far future. Just look at any western European country that is doing very well at this moment. It's only common sense that we try to make the whole planet like that and then make it even better.
