I have heard that criminals are taking advantage of the muslim dress code by wearing clothes that reflect what the muslim women wear. You basically can only see their eyes.

I have heard of gangstas in the hood dressing up like muslims when they go to rob gas stations because they know that they don't have to hurry up to the door with a ski mask on instead. Also, it makes them harder to identify if they are just walking down the street. Basically all you have to go by is a very vague description of the person.

I don't think the Burqa is what Traditional Muslims wear. It's more of a new thing (In America, as far as I know) basically sticking it in our faces.

Islam orders to women muslims to wear in full clothes but does not cover the faces. But the burqa is just the traditional arabic clothes that they wear it. I don't care about it.

Where does it say in the Quran that Islam makes wearing a burqa mandatory? Most Muslim women I see wear a hijab if they choose to cover themselves, rather than a burqa.

That is true, but it's not the religion of Islam that states this. It's merely a cultural dress code. Islam obliges women to cover up their body and shape and their hair, but the face and hands can be revealed. Granted, the Burqa doesn't contradict Islam in anyway... But that doesn't mean it's encouraged by Islam either.

I can see where you might be offended but its not uncommon for criminals to dress up before they commit a crime and they are looking for an easy way to get away from the law after that crime is commited. There is no better way to do that than to fit in with society.

No, I understand. I just don't believe it without adjacent proof. And even if it was true, you can't blame Islam for this. That's like blaming snowboarders/skiers for helping with ski masks used in crimes, or companies who make black coats. Regardless, they will hide. Secondmore, in America at least, seeing someone in a full Islam suit is a rare occurrence, and usually would be looked upon like that person is wearing a ski mask or something of the sort, just like if you wore a trench coat and boots with dark glasses and decided to take a walk.

you know I've seen plenty of persons wearing burqa's, you can easily tell if the person is a woman or not... dont say "they need to go" because they wont, its a cultural dress, they wont stop using them because thiefs use them in their advantage, HK or FN doesnt stop fabricating weapons even after knowing that everyday there are hundreds of their inventions being sold at the black market.

One more this is, you cannot judge the person for something that was he/she wear it. Burqa is just a traditional arabic dress, where you should respect them but never encouraged them to take off the polite dress and order her to wear sexy dress. That would gonna mad!

Its not about judgement but falls more along the lines of how it makes the police have a harder time catching criminals in the act or on the run.

But it's kinda stupid if some man wears this type of the dress in order to do criminals but in conflicted countries like pakistan had been this problem when the terrorist use this dress to blow up the city.

You all are delusional its not just going on in one place. This is a threat to security. I believe that one should be able to express their freedom of religion but only to a certain reasonable extent. With that being said, I don't think someone should be able to come up with a religion on their own and start doing whatever the hell they want because well thats their "religion". Even if the religion is factual it doesn't mean that everybody is going to abide by it and do things properly as their religion encourages them to do so. I'm not saying that everyone that dresses that way is a criminal but seeing as someone is wearing a complete blanket over their entire body its a threat to security seeing as you can't see anything and there is always a possibility that they could be carrying a gun with them.

I am sure the burka was invented and used long before guns came around.

The same could be said about people that like to wear ski masks. Its perfectly ok to wear one in your home but when you go outside people want to see your face or else they think that you are disguising your face for some reason. So if your not going skiing then you probably should not be wearing one outside.

I know one thing if you were to wear a ski mask and walk into a bank or a gas station they would get mad. They have every right to get mad about it.

I've actually thought about that before, about how that would be a way to hide your identity without drawing much attention. It's not like they wouldn't just find some other way to commit the same crime though. I think that the thing that got me thinking about how it would be a good disguise for a crime was that I was thinking about how people in places where that attire is required identify women in public. Well, I guess they DON'T. There is a joke about that in the movie Get Smart, where they are in public and some guy states that a woman walking by is his wife. :P That tradition did not even originate from religion. That's just what it's come to be associated with.
