Even though there are many different instruments which make many different sounds which originated in the middle east? :? Something tells me Islam aint what it used to be. (not just this)
Well this is something we are familiar with for a long time especially under IRI. It is hard for people not accustomed with Islamic laws to accept this but it is also hard for Muslims to understand some discrimination and sexual merchandising of female body and similar misuse of woman in certain countries as well.

Whites are easily give up their religion or their believe. also example, many whites leave their religion to athiesm, islam and buddism and proud of it......... look at richard gear.... he thinks buddism is a trend at his time. look at ellen burstyn from exorcist movie... she convert to islam need to say more? i know a few who have left islam for marriage, just a few months ago one of my best friends convered to southern baptist from islam so he could wed his now wife

They should get together with my fundamentalist Christian grandfather, who believed that everything with any kind of percussion whatsoever is "African junk music" and is a corruptor of souls.

Probably a good thing he is not in Malaysia in that case. Not sure what the penalty is, but I believe it is forbidden to convert from islam into any other religion.
On a quick side note, people from other religions are encouraged to convert to islam.

the standard punishment for leaving islam is death, he knows this and i guess dated customs dont hold as much weight as his love for his wife

Well, at this rate, they'll soon eliminate all contact between sexes. Which means the extremists will end up becoming extinct, which is nice for the rest of us.XilePrincess
