[QUOTE="deepdreamer256"]I recall they said the chances of it happening were around about 1 in 700,000.MattUD1Is that for or against Jesus coming down on a velociraptor? Umm, against. No, seriously, it was the chances of a doomsday event. I bet it was made up on the spot, but still, it's reassuring that they are confident in their work.

[QUOTE="Bio_Spark"]I think a black hole plunging to the Earth's core and eating the world from the inside out would be a pretty hardcore way to destroy everything.Matt-4542Certainly changed my way of wanting to die Bio_Spark. Youre posts are full of mega awesomeness x)
Stop trying to brown-nose your way into his sig :P
Anyway even if it does create a black hole (a mini black hole at that) there wouldn't be enough power to sustain it and would disintergrate due to radiation almost instantly.
I think everyone should watch this.
The LHC is no threat what so ever. We will not die, the Earth will not be destroyed and scientists will know a lot more about the universe because of it.

I recall they said the chances of it happening were around about 1 in 700,000.deepdreamer256Whether that's accurate or not, every device's chance of destroying the universe should be at ZERO.

That's good then, considering it has almost no chance of destroying the Earth, let alone the entire universe.
