so im a bit bummed. i came home to crowbar marks on the door, i came in and my ps3, about 15 games and 30 movies were gone. i had infamous, cross edge, res evil 5, lbp, uncharted, valkyria chronicles, soul edge 4, sf4, mgs4, disgaea 3, a couple others and flower, mega man 9, ssf2hd and mk2...... i had to vent and i felt off topic was the best place. anybody have this happen to them before?

(btw, this is the 3rd time in 4 years my apt's been broken into)

move into a safer neighborhood or get better locks or get home security

No I've never been robbed, but I'm sure its not nice, i hope you have insurance :(

im actually moving into a brand new house in 2 weeks in a much much nicer neighborhoodand i have the money to replace the stuff, it just pisses me off cuz all my game saves and hours and hours are gone :P but all my guitars, tv and pc are still here so i guess i have to look at the bright side

yeah, i had someone else suggest a guard dog but i really dont like pets. yeah im quite glad they didnt snag my pc, im moving my expensive stuff tonight so that if they come back for it they're outta luck.

Did you use a deadbolt? Is the door metal? Have you heard of mag-locks?

man that bites,i've never been robbed because its not possible(i never sleep at night,and besides if someone tries to break in i got the axe with me),but i know how you feel i misteriously lost mi nintendo,my games for nintendo and also 8 pc games one of them was dmc4.i feel ya man

I actually can one-up you TC.

A friend and I were planning on using my car to drive out to a concert. The day of the concert my friend comes walking in and says "Well I guess were using my car." I ask him why and he tells me my windows were smashed out.

Some idiots had decided to smash out my windows while they were completely wasted. These were people I didn't even know.

I had just oaid $370 to get my car running a few days prior, and I found out my insurance wouldn't cover ANY of the damage they did to my car (which the damage left it undrivable as they smash my windshiel and rear window along with 2 of the side windows.

The police did absolutely NOTHING to help me so I basically got screwed out of a car because some people decided to have a ******* party....
