I'm glad someone agrees with me. I mean I understand that it's not as bad as cigs for your health and stuff but come on. I can't beleive how big this issue is. And one of the main arguments for it is "Everyone's doing it." In my participation in government class that was literally one of the arguments used for legalization. It scares me to think how many potheads are in this country.

The thing about cigs is that, at least forr most people, they don't reduce your inhibitions. Weed does. At least, you don't function normally. Smoking a cig and driving isn't as dangerous as smoking a joint and driving.

Lol yeah I know. I can see the use for pain killers and I have no problem if it's for medical reasons but recreationally I do. It could be potentially dangerous if someone smokes it and gets behind the wheel of a car.

Somehow there are always more people who vote against legalization than for it.

i personally dont see a reason as to why weed isnt legal already, most of the reasons why its band span way back to the 30's and 40's and issues in that era.I dont smoke it but i've seen alcohol do a lot worse to people than what weed does.

By any objective measure, the war against drugs has failed miserably, and the government should consider phasing out the war on drugs by legalizing mairjuana. Ruining lives for the minor offense of carrying a small amount of pot is a joke, and the cost of enforcement is in the billions. It's almost like nothing was learned from the 18th and 21st constitutional amendments in the US.
