First time I've ever seen snow in my life

I rarely ever see snow either, but it's supposed to snow later. I don't think it's going to stick to the ground though.
I hope it snows this year in Alabama. In Cleveland where I'm from, we live for it. (not that we have a choice)
Sugarland, and I know it snowed a little last year but right now it's just going nonstop outside. Hah I feel like such a little kid.
Ha I live close to you in Alief. Yea it's snowing, but the snow is melting once it hits the ground.Sugarland, and I know it snowed a little last year but right now it's just going nonstop outside. Hah I feel like such a little kid.

Really...I have lived in Texas for more than 25 years and seen tons of snow (lubbock, amarillo, dallas)...almost every year Where are you from?rawsavon
i've lived in texas my entire life too and while i've seen snow, i definitely wouldn't say tons (of course i live in the DFW area which stormfronts tend to pass around) in fact, i'm sitting at work in grand prairie looking out the window with fingers crossed lol.

This is my first year in Dallas We had a small flurry a couple days ago...but only for an hour or two, and none stuck to the groundI live in Iowa. We generally get 4 big snows for the winter. By big snows I am talking about ones that total 6 inches or more. Last year we had 3 storms that accuallated over a foot of snow each. We just had our first accumulating snow last night and it wasn't even an inch.

Finally snowed here in Winnipeg during the past 2.5 days, it actually came pretty late up here. Oh and i'm originally from Thompson Manitoba which about 875km (543 miles i believe)north of the USA border so you could imagine how much snow we got up there. I enjoy winter more then most though.
I actually used to live in Sugar Land. And I've had 3 relatives call me in the past 5 hours just to tell me that it was snowing.
I miss living in Texas and only seeing snow on TV and going, "oh wow, it's so pretty." Now whenever I see it I think, "Oh ****. Here we go."
It was snowing in louisiana too (at least north louisiana) but it's definitely not the first time it has snowed here.
Snow is poisonous...so don't eat it.SunshaIf you pee on it first it neutralizes it and then you can eat it. Trust me, I've had to do this before when I was lost in the forsaken icy mountains for a week...
