I rarely ever see snow either, but it's supposed to snow later. I don't think it's going to stick to the ground though.

I hope it snows this year in Alabama. In Cleveland where I'm from, we live for it. (not that we have a choice)

It snowed here in Corpus Christi 5 years ago on a Christmas morning. There's no snow now but I'm certainly freezing my ass off with this blistering wind outside.

We were supposed to get snow here last night but we didn't. Not that I'm complaining. Have fun in your snow though....

i've lived in texas my entire life too and while i've seen snow, i definitely wouldn't say tons (of course i live in the DFW area which stormfronts tend to pass around) in fact, i'm sitting at work in grand prairie looking out the window with fingers crossed lol.

I live in Iowa. We generally get 4 big snows for the winter. By big snows I am talking about ones that total 6 inches or more. Last year we had 3 storms that accuallated over a foot of snow each. We just had our first accumulating snow last night and it wasn't even an inch.

I hope it snows here. The UK gets its fair share of snow but it hardly ever snows in the north west. Something to do with the mountains or something.

Finally snowed here in Winnipeg during the past 2.5 days, it actually came pretty late up here. Oh and i'm originally from Thompson Manitoba which about 875km (543 miles i believe)north of the USA border so you could imagine how much snow we got up there. I enjoy winter more then most though.

Strange winter here in Minnesota. We got snow in the fist week of October, then it was in the 50's until the other day. Just finally getting snow when it should have been much colder by now. Go snow! Christmas with out snow just doesn't seem the same, don't know how people without snow do it.

It's just barely snowing here (Canada), and only a dusting of it at night. It all melts by the next day. The last 2 years has been blisteringly cold by mid-october. It still feels like a september here, even though it's december. I kinda wish I was in texas :/

This reminds me one day when i was littel on a school trip we went to the only place that snows in my country. So i tought of bringing snow to my parents, cause they never saw. I was such an idiot that i didnt even tought it would melt on the way. So on the way back on the bus Bus, i got it all wet. Everyone started laughing thinking i was an idiot. I was so stupid, i tought if i hide in a bag, it wouldnt melt cause it didnt get any sun in it.

I actually used to live in Sugar Land. And I've had 3 relatives call me in the past 5 hours just to tell me that it was snowing.

I miss living in Texas and only seeing snow on TV and going, "oh wow, it's so pretty." Now whenever I see it I think, "Oh ****. Here we go."

Here where I live in Texas, mother nature decided to tease us with the "snow" by surrounding us with two separate fronts of snow, one in Houston and the other to the Northwest above Waco. So we got flurries and then sunshine as everything moved on away. And yeah, even in Texas, you'll eventually see snow - it's just rare and random enough to be excited by the prospect of even having any.

Just depends on where you live in Texas...Amarillo gets it all the time (many times a year and quite a bit at a time)

If you pee on it first it neutralizes it and then you can eat it. Trust me, I've had to do this before when I was lost in the forsaken icy mountains for a week...

Yeah that's true. I lived in DFW for a good 11 years and maybe saw snow once a year, and only once every couple years did it actually accumulate. Most years it just comes down lightly or just comes down as freezing rain, or sleet or some other less pleasant form of ice.

I've heard of this happening before. Many parts of Texas get snow, so it may have been just a long time since your part's had it.
