Anthony isnt even in Saosin so you shouldnt count him. Cove Reber is so much better IMO.

Anyway- (No Specific order)

Matthew Tuck (Bullet For My Valentine)
Howard Jones (Killswitch Engage
Shawn Mike (Alesana)
Jordan Blake (A Skylit Drive former)
Michael Jagmin (A Skylit Drive current)
Bert McCracken (The Used)
Chris Donothan (The Medic Droid
Davey Havok (AFI, Blaqk Audio)
David Draimen (Disturbed)
Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour)
Matt Heafy (Trivium)

I'm aware he isn't in Saosin anymore. Thats good on his part. IMO I can't get into Saosin new lead although I do like Chris in that new Norma Jean song.

Cove sucks badly live, like he can not sing at all live, although he does suit Saosin much better than Anthony Green, and plus if Anthony Green didnt leave Saosin we would have Circa Survive:D. And those singers are pretty generic. listen to some Dredg. Gavin Hayes is a pretty darn good singer, at least on recording, i have yet to see them perform live:cry:. Jesse Lacey from Brand New can sing prety good live and sounds pretty good in general

Maynard James Keenan from Tool is probably the best, and I rarely if ever listen to Tool!

Other faves of mine include Joe Strummer, Greg Graffin (Bad Religion), and, as of very recently, Brian Fallon from the Gaslight Anthem.

Mikael Akerfeldt. (Opeth) - Versatility, amazing clean vocals.
Dave Hunt (Mistress, Benediction, Anaal Nathrakh) - Creepy, empowering, strange in an appealing way.
Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity) - Versatile, acceptable clean vocals.
Tomas Lindberg (At the Gates, Nightrage, many others) - Didn't show his greatness until he left ATG.

Nergal (Behemoth) - Is great on Demigod due to triple-layer and good production quality, but I wouldn't put him up there normally.

If you meant just rock...:P Metal is a subgenre of it. People already listed most of the great rock vocalists anyway.

matt barlow and daxx riggs are great vocalists.

for the sake of throwing out an oddball, ill mention death from mayhem. he used to starve himself so he would get stomach ulsers. he liked the effect it had on his singing.

Dead also buried his clothes weeks before concerts and smelled the corpse of a dead crow before singing...it's really not too surprising he suicided with such a "care-free" note beside his body.

Well, he did claim the rotting bird and the cuts he gave himself on stage affected his singing...

However I still laugh at his note too, it's like he had his own sense of humor and he carried it to his death. "PS: Sorry I had to use the shotgun indoors, the knives weren't sharp enough."

Yes, not to mention he was never able to see the reaction of Euronymous, although that's not really the point of a suicide note.

Brandon Boyd of Incubus. That guy knows how to actually sing and sing amazingly well.

Even if you don't like Incubus, when you hear the guy sing you can't help but say "wow." Plus the dude, you know, knows how to work a mic instead of always keeping it right at his mouth.

INCREDIBLE lyricist too. My step mom is into folk music and poetry and when she read Incubus's lyrics she was blown away.
