the whole muslim religion is pretty much a contradiction - they accept jesus as a prophet but in the bible he clearly claims he is godnightshade85they don't accept all of the new testiment, believing Christians have skewed the original message of Jesus over the years.......which they have.....
I don't think he existed.yoshi-lnexI believe they actually proved his existence. I mean they have documents he wrote and such. If he was the Son of God or not is what is really debated about him.

There is no chance anybody proved Jesus existed. Nobdoy better bring  up Roman records with the name Jesus because that in no way proves it is the same person they are talking about in the bible.

Hell maybe i choose that name because i am so fond of Space Exploration... Also wouldn't i have to of had a Greek education to have "Greek Logic"?

The burden of proof is on the christian not the non believer. He wasn't the son of god. sinarilias
One of the prophecies of the jewish messiah was that he would arrive before the destruction of the 2nd temple in Jeruselem, which happened in 70 AD by the Roman Empire.
It's either Jesus christ or no one else. Take your pick.

If they said it and we have someone to fit the criteria, it must be true!Made up?CptJSparrow
If that is the case, then the single most influential person in all of history was a fictional character proposed by jewish men who were stoned, crucified and literally died for a fictional character, knowing all that was a lie? Does the bible or the New testament in general sound like it's any bit deceptive? Why would these jewish fishermen testify seeing Christ ressurected with a society who believed Jesus Christ was merely dead? Why would they risk being persecuted when literally no one believed their testimonies?
Things don't add up, unless Jesus Christ was a real person who had stirred up trouble with the religious Pharisees and politicians. Jesus must have said something to piss them all of, to be called a devil-worshiper(Josephus) and a sorcerer(Babylonian talmud).

If they said it and we have someone to fit the criteria, it must be true! Why do you think jesus Christ appeared within a generation of "messiahs", trying to fulfill ancient prophecies by the persecuted prophets hundreds of years before then? These thieves, as I like to call them had realized the opprotunity had presented itself. These people did not have the impact they did like Jesus, nor did they have the word. If their word was truly befitting of them being the Jewish Messiah, their word would live on today, but that isn't the case. Did these people die for me? Does their word sound genuine? Why do you think no one died for their messiah, if they they believed he were true? Where are the men being stoned and asking God to forgive those who persecute them?

Why would someone lese say that jesus was God. How could he benefit from that.
the same way record companies benefit from a Singer.that still doesn't make any since. that still doesn't make any since cuz most of His followers and Him were killed.
I think he was delusional, personally. He had the right message, but he was generally a very bipolar actor, and I realize this is going to stir up some controversy, but how were his followers any different from Charles' Manson's followers? Albeit, Jesus wasn't a mentally unstable serial killer.... Same concept, different case.how could he be bipolar. Plus u could say the same thing about any person who has followers. You could say it for Hitler to Bush or pretty much anyone. that doesn't really mean anything.
[QUOTE="syorks"]So whats everyones opinion on Jesus. Do u think he was completely insane, a very good liar, or do you think he was the true Son of God.mistervengeance
he was probably one cool dude, but no way the son of god. that part of it was determined by a council of the roman empire (MEN, not freaking angels or something) also what was changed was j-man's birthday from easter to christmas.Â
How can u believe that he was just a nice guy but wasn't God. Why do u even believe that He did some nice things but u don't think He's the Son of God. You believe in everything he says but not the one about Him being the Son of God. it just doesn't make any since.

Exactly
He is the son of God the one and only !flight78
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.(From the NIV Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4)"
"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.(From the NIV Bible, Mark 12:29)"
Notice also how Jesus said "our God", which included him to be under GOD Almighty's creation and Divine Authority, and not someone or an entity that is equal to GOD AlmightyÂ
