In any case, Obama may write his speeches, but I wonder why he's so awful when his teleprompter locks up or when he's unscripted. He stumbles and stutters, makes mistakes, gaffes, and downright embarrassingly ignorant statements. I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but he's worse than Bush, because at least Bush had his speeches memorised.

The thing though is not how well you speak but what you have to say. And frankly, I'm more interested in what Bill and Hillary Clinton have to say.

But when you get inside of 8 weeks (which we are now), people are more knowledgable about the candidates and the issues, and the spread of several different polls is very close to what Americans currently think. These polls show Mccain ahead by 5-6 points overall give or take, which is higher than the average margin of error by a couple of points. If the election were tomorrow, Mccain would almost certainly win.

Hopefully he will widen the gap. Obama has essentially no record, so I cannot trust him as an educated voter.
