Yeah her epic speech which SHE DIDN'T WRITE. ANY MORON CAN READ A PAPER.

Thanks, but don't expect the TC and other brainwashed posters to reply to this, because they cannot face the truth.

No it is you who must face the truth. Obama, if elected, will be Jimmy Carter's second term. You can quote me on this. (BTW alexmurray I already know how you'll reply so don't bother...)

about facing the truth he meant the speech....

Educate yourself. Bush started to pull ahead in early September and never looked back.

sorry my mistake, but it wont be like that this time

lololol, first you suggest it will be exactly like the Bush vs. Kerry election. Then, when you find out that the comparison is unfavourable for your candidate, you say it won't be like that! As long as we're basing our speculation on facts...

Popular vote does not matter. It is the electoral vote that decides, and that guy who posted that 538 website clearly shows obama dominating.

Chargeagles1

Except Rasmussen and RealClearPolitics, who use a variety of sources and methods to predict the electorate, only have Obama in the lead by 10 votes or less with swing states like Colorado and Michigan trending McCain.

538 also uses a variety of sources to create an average. Doesn't matter anyway because Obama is winning by 47.6 electoral votes which is huge. His win percentage is also 2 to 1.

RealClearPolitics seems to think that Obama is only leading by an ever-slimming margin of 8 votes. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/maps/obama_vs_mccain/?map=10

Biden told the public that he was sorry. he also said that he didn't do it intentionally and forgot to quote the man. BTW his whole speech wasn't plagiarised, only a small section. Still u are forgetting the point, all she did was read and talk, that does not make her an "epic" candidate.

No offense, but USA Today is kind of a redneck magazine. Apart from that, I'm really scared. I'm starting to feel very scared for our future now. The U.S. had so much potential, but now the American public is backing out...

Which proves the point that polls are inaccurate. instead of bickering now we should just wait until the end of october, until the people have made up their mind.

Biden wasn't the only one who plagiarised... Obama likes to lift speeches too. Oh, how quickly we forget!

In any case, Obama may write his speeches, but I wonder why he's so awful when his teleprompter locks up or when he's unscripted. He stumbles and stutters, makes mistakes, gaffes, and downright embarrassingly ignorant statements. I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but he's worse than Bush, because at least Bush had his speeches memorised.

The thing though is not how well you speak but what you have to say. And frankly, I'm more interested in what Bill and Hillary Clinton have to say.

roosevelt wanted universal healthcare, so my point still stands.

the country actually needs some one who understands the economy such as Ron Paul. Hes the only one who talks about our situation. everyone else is about race gender and abortion.

True, polls are not completely accurate. But when you get inside of 8 weeks (which we are now), people are more knowledgable about the candidates and the issues, and the spread of several different polls is very close to what Americans currently think. These polls show Mccain ahead by 5-6 points overall give or take, which is higher than the average margin of error by a couple of points. If the election were tomorrow, Mccain would almost certainly win.

Hopefully he will widen the gap. Obama has essentially no record, so I cannot trust him as an educated voter.

Hell, just about every politician has their speeches written for them. This is common knowledge, and nobody really gives a crap. You might as well begrudge BioShock because they didn't come up with their own thematic ideas.
