I don't know about you guys, but I'm serious about wanting to do this. The wife and I have been wanting to visit Greece and I had already asked @johnd13 to be our guide; I'd love to meet the rest of you...I think if we book the flights plenty in advance the cost shouldn't be extraordinarily high

@korvus: I was heading to Mexico but Greece, errr okay. Don't know much what Greece has to offer.

Would save me some money, but on the other hand I'd really like to visit Greece. The weather will also be a lot nicer there :)

@deeliman: Actually yes =) I wouldn't mind talking to your parents first if you really want to come...you could come with my wife and I (I hope she'll come) so you'd be safe...that being said my life is going through some changes and I'm not sure how available I'm going to be for the rest of the year so it might take a while for me to be available to travel.

As for the prices, the plane ticket is probably cheap enough providing we buy them a few months in advance, the problem is always the stay...went to Rome for 60 euros, spent about 900 euros on a hotel XD It was an expensive hotel though.

Well, I could split a room with someone. Normally we could book a room at an NH hotel for about 50 euros per night per room including breakfast (my dad works there so we get a really big discount), but I believe there aren't any NH hotels in Greece :/

@deeliman: Doesn't seem like it, no; maybe John knows of some cheap but decent hotels in the area.

@korvus: I don't really travel so I'm going to disappoint you. It's been many years since I last stayed at a hotel.

Plus, my city is not really a tourist attraction like Athens is. But I could ask some people if need be.

I have to say guys I prefer the Netherlands myself. :P I've never traveled outside of my country and it sounds like a more cosmopolitan meeting place. It'll be easier and more affordable for some of you as well and tbh I'm not very good at managing such situations as a host so I'd crumble under the responsibility. :( And ofc by that time, Greece might be a devastated and bankrupted hell hole lol.

Brah you should totally go to Germany. Every sauna is mixed and nude. Every sauna. If you go at the right time at the right place you'll see so many hot girls without clothes. Like during students day. If a hot girl want to sauna, she has to do it naked in front of you. So awesome.

It's not that bad. Unless you're poor, then you're screwed. I fear that Greece exiting the Euro Zone will have devastating effects on all classes. Fingers crossed that ain't gonna happen.
