[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"][QUOTE="H8sMikeMoore"][QUOTE="mrbojangles25"] The correct answer is "D: none of the above"
God doesnt exist. And if he does, he doesnt care enough that its worth arguing over.
Like I always say, assume there is no God, yet suspect that there is a God...your life will be happier as a result.
SonKev
your post is completely off topic. Were talking about two religions that are in some ways very common. According to there own texts, in the ways that theyre similar i want them to prove who is actually closer. REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE GOD THEY BELIEVE IN IS REAL OR NOT.
Oh im sorry. I must be honest, I did not read all the of the first post...I was in too much of a hurry to be a smartass :P
With that said, I'd say Islam is closer. According to what my iranian teacher said during a Mid-East studies program, Islam is closer to because it is more recent and more relavent. In other words, Islam preaches the most recent word of God...consider it Religion 3.0, with Judaism and Christianity being 1.0 and 2.0.
All the Jew and Christian prophets are in the Quran, the only exception is the Jesus is a prophet and not the song of God.
You're Iranian teacher.... LOL, Im sure he wasnt biased at all... lol wow.... your post is so; well, pointless
LOL, This topic is so retarded, its like saying what is the best tasting fruit in the world, the only fruits you can choose from are apples and oranges. No other fruits count or matter
lol its not pointless, I provided perspective on the Muslim religion. Bias? Yes, but bias towards what? I didnt really argue against Judaism, it just argued for Islam.
And why do you think I mentioned my teacher was Iranian? Because I wanted you guys to assume she was biased.
And whats your problem, man? We are arguing hypothetically here. Just because there are rules that apply (i.e. we only get to choose one of two religions) doesnt mean we cant have a constructive argument. Lighten up and enjoy youself, its only religion:D
