Dude there has always been a group of people that has thought the end is in their generation since the beginning of civilization. So relinquish your ignorance and look into real science and not your christian filtered often unestablished and unreliable science and shove it.
Oh boy another doomsday preacher.
Sorry to break it to you but we've been down this road before, people been preaching about the end for thousands of years yet we still stand. I really hope once 2012 comes around and we are still here religions just fall apart and people finally wake up and see how blind they are.

A very polite response, how refreshing
listen TC, im assuming your christian. at the very least you get religion. you do know that, according to the bible, no man knows the day or the hour right?
Indeed. This is why I always laugh at anyone who tries to pinpoint the end of the world from a biblical standpoint.Oh my holy wall of text. The world isn't ending any time soon btw
P.S you also forgot the part where it says no man, not even jesus knows the day or the hour

There was a man named Charles Taze Russell that believed he had unlocked the secret of when Armageddon was coming [based on the pyramids of Egypt]; I encourage you to look it up sometime. His organization, The Watchtower, not only was wrong about 1914/1915 being Armageddon, but also 1975. As I look at this prediction you've presented, I'm reminded of the same assertions of his because they both provide no evidence. Even some of the scriptures you quoted were ripped out of context.
My advice: don't hold your breath. :P
I have been raised Christian. No one can predict when God is suppose to return. Its impossible. Thats not going to happen.
Religion is a scary thing. Oh well, at least I can take comfort knowing we will all go together when we go.
He also addressed above in that the book is now open to reveal the last day. "Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. According to this verse, God shut up the words and sealed the Book (the Bible) until the time of the end. Because the Bible's information was sealed up, no man could know the timing of the end of the world. But the strong implication of Daniel 12:4 is that the seals would be taken off once the time period of the end is reached. Furthermore, once the end of time does come about, "knowledge shall be increased." Matthew 24:36 declares that no one knows "but My Father only." God has always known the timing of the end of the world. Since God Himself is the author of the Bible, it was no problem for Him to place this information and hide it within the Bible where it would lie dormant until the proper point in history was reached. Since we have now arrived at the end of the world, God is now revealing these things to His people. " http://www.ebiblefellowship.com/wecanknow/index.htmlFuhgeddabouditt
What, exactly, makes this random guy's interpretation of the Bible more trustworthy than the hundreds or thousands that have come before him and failed to come true?
I mean I'm not exaggerating when I say that people have been predicting this **** for the past two thousand years. They literally have, and they all do exactly what this guy is doing, and they were all wrong. Eventually it gets to the point that the new guy doing the same thing and saying the same things is so likely to be wrong that it's not even worth giving him the mental energy necessary to actually figure out why.
Actually he was wrong once before 94 as well. Not christian, they are cultists.i wanna be there on the day the world is suppossed to end just to laugh in these silly christians faces.

Napoleon is the devil!!! It's true, just read the bible and count the letters in his name!
... wait, wrong century.
ive addressed that so many times already.listen TC, im assuming your christian. at the very least you get religion. you do know that, according to the bible, no man knows the day or the hour right?

[QUOTE="Fuhgeddabouditt"]im not agreeing with the guy. I just find his reason interesting although he was wrong in 94. Just posting why he thinks the it beings May 21. He maybe wrong or right. Just thought this would be interesting for OT to discuss, thats all. [QUOTE="GabuEx"]Actually he was wrong once before 94 as well. I know that but in 94, he wasnt 100% sure, this time he is. Im just pointing out why he now thinks hes correct. What, exactly, makes this random guy's interpretation of the Bible more trustworthy than the hundreds or thousands that have come before him and failed to come true?

ive addressed that so many times already. Yes you have, but still those are twisted versions of the bible. But Harold camping does prove one thing, "there will be many false prophets in the end of days" him being one of them.I still think humans have at least another 100 years.
I am also disappointed. I want the world to end with zombies.
what are you going to do when the world doesn't end? rethink the foundations of your system of beliefs perhaps? anyhow, since you bring up Noah's Ark, you should watch this interesting critique on that horrible storylamprey263Once again these are not christian writings, these are twisted versions of the bible, so think twice before you go bashing Christianity again.

11,013 BC-Creation. God created the world and man (Adam and Eve).
I'm sorry, I couldn't get past this line.
Haha me neither.
Wait 11,000 bc? that actually debunks the whole thread right there. According to the bible the world is not even 10,000 years old.listen TC, im assuming your christian. at the very least you get religion. you do know that, according to the bible, no man knows the day or the hour right?

I was thinking he can be one of them.Jesus Christ came to die for our sins and not the elected. This stuff is fake and the person that came up with this is trying to play God.
You can take any quote from the Bible and turn it into anything. Sounds like some terrible cult.
true but there still remains nonbelievers. The nonbelievers arent the elect to be saved when the time comes to be taken into heaven.Jesus Christ came to die for our sins and not the elected. This stuff is fake and the person that came up with this is trying to play God.

what, it saids that :? 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. The ones who are left behind, not taken up, are the nonbelievers. They will be left on earth to witness terrible things for months before being destroyed. Just saying. There is so much wrong with this i dont even know where to begin. The rapture is false, and the bible says no man knows the day or hour. Period. Also, this is such a slaughtering and cherry picking of the BIble it makes me want to throw up.
I am also disappointed. I want the world to end with zombies.

I agree. I believe that God has a sense of humor, therefore he will make the creations of our own minds become reality, and the zombie apocalypse will start!:P
Seriously that would be awesome.
the rapture isnt false. Though you may not agree on the word, the naming of the event, the bible clearly states it will occur. There is so much wrong with this i dont even know where to begin.
