I'm leaning toward the latter. We've made a lot of requests in terms of bringing back boards (sports board, for example) and fixing bugs. Those requests have been largely ignored...

Yeah, but I liked being able to see what the post looked like to make sure it was formatted correctly if I had images or video in the post.

it's got 'designed by hipsters' written all over it. would it have been too much to ask to get someone familiar with the old site layout to do the redesign?

it's currently bland, and this is not some knee-jerk reaction to sudden change. it's not an improvement at all.

This really does feel like a barebones approach. I understand they're trying to achieve a modern look, but even in that regard they failed. It's like a mishmash of ideas that ultimately went no where.

@Jebus213: I'm not a forum person but... You're trying to tell me those are what passes for good forums? They all seem to be painfully colorful and obnoxiously cluttered. If I didn't look at the url first, I wouldn't have been able to tell you what I was looking at.
