Ive been wanting to see that for awhile so im glad you liked it. I just saw Stray Dog and High Planes Drifter.

Stray Dog

Great film Noir piece by the great Akira Kurosawa .

High Planes Drifter

Clint Eastwood western, thats all you need to know.

Both were fantastic and highly recomendable.

I watched the opening. What I saw was pretentious and amateurish. Plus, I had just watched Following, and wasn't in the mood to see two overrated black&white neo-noirs in the same day.

It was like a ****ing thesis film.

me too I wasnt into the opening, it took some time to get into the suspense part and the actors didnt move me or anything, but it is my first French film so Im not too use to it. I also agree I wouldnt be able to watch 2 back-to-back....lol

I've seen it, and A_Tarkovsky's right. It ends up looking like a thesis film. It's very amateurish, but all quabbles aside, it's still a good suspense movie. Worth renting, anyways.

Co-sign, alot of amazing movies are french, if the movie is well made i dont care who made it or where its from. If its good its good
