I really, really don't understand why he's getting so frustrated over the fact that some people think some lesser-known songs are better.

The album he released in 2011 with Jay-Z went platinum. The album he released in 2010 by himself went platinum and critics drooled all over that one. Kanye still has a really big fanbase.

It means: I shouldn't have even come here because I didn't have anything nice to say in the first place.

But what I meant was: these 2 guys (especially Jay Z) brag through half of their songs about how huge they are, and they get shoved in everyones face for some reason, but - I have never in my entire life met anyone who thought either of these guys were anything more than a flash in the pan.

Maybe it's more of a regional thing somewhere in the states, but I seriously don't know anyone who gives a damn about either of these guys at all. All I been hearing for 10 years from these guys mouths is how incredibly famous and respected they are. But no one else ever seems to be saying it, just them and the network they're whoring themselves to atm. Just the odd guy on the interent ever has anything good to say about these tools.

But I'm going to leave this topic now because , really, I have no business being here in the first place. I'm gonna apologize for being a dick because I really shouldn't have even come in here to begin with. This therad is for fans of those guys.

It's cool, I just didn't really know what you were talking about...I think it's hard to call either guy a flash in the pan at this point.

You probably just don't hang around people who are interested in their type of music because I can assure you they're huge. They play arenas when they tour and fill buildings up, their albums almost always go platinum, their music is played a lot on top 40 and urban radio stations, etc.

I tried giving the song Runaway multiple tries after people saying how great it was. The choros was fairly good, but the part where Kanye stated to rap sounded awful and lyrics were just weak in my opinion. The music to it was great, but the lyrics were horrible in my opinion. Why is Kanye emphasizing the last words in the lines so much?

"she finds pictures in my e-MAILS!"

"i don't know what it is with fe-MALES!"

I could understand this if he was making a really complex maniuplated rhyme, but he isn't, and even then it would come off like he didn't know how to rhyme it right. He does this in his verse in Forever by Drake and it drives me nuts. It is so obnoxious.
